ACHAT Hotels is a German hotel group with more than 30 properties under the ACHAT and LOGINN brands. They are spread across the country, often in trade fair cities, near airports or in regions like the Palatinate, Rhine-Neckar and Saxony. The group suits anyone who wants a straightforward room at a predictable price, whether for work or on the way somewhere else.
What you can book there
You book hotel rooms, either on the group website, by phone or by email. You pick the location first, then the dates and the rate. If you need more than nine rooms at once, the group treats it as a group booking and you have to send an enquiry. The group also sells vouchers that you can redeem on later stays.
What a booking really costs
The room price is only the start. Breakfast is not automatically included, you can add it on site. For children, the buffet is free up to and including age 6, half price up to and including age 11 and full price from 12. Children under 12 sleep in their parents' bed for free, while a cot or extra bed costs extra and is not available in every hotel.
Dogs are welcome, up to two per room. The hotel decides what that costs, so check the hotel page or ask. A late check-out after 11 am is only possible on request and for a surcharge that depends on how long you want to stay on. Wi-Fi is free in all hotels. Whether a local overnight or tourist tax applies depends on the city, so look at the price breakdown in the last booking step.
Cancellation and payment
The rate sets the rules. The early-booking rate cannot be cancelled after booking and is paid in advance, so you need a credit card. The flexible rate can be cancelled free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival; you only need a credit card with it if you plan to arrive after 6 pm. With the Echt Grün rate, a credit card is kept on file as a guarantee. For trade fair dates there are separate fair rates with different conditions, which you should read before you click book.
On the regular rates you pay on arrival. A breakfast you have already booked cannot be cancelled later. One more thing if you booked through a portal: you can only cancel there, the hotel cannot do it for you.
How to save
The group promises the best price on its own website, but only on equal terms, meaning the same cancellation, the same inclusions and the same payment method. So never compare only the number, compare the rate behind it. A cheap early-booking rate without any option to change plans quickly turns out more expensive than the flexible one if your plans shift.
Value vouchers bought since 1 January 2026 are redeemed directly during booking on the website, in the final step in the voucher or promo code field. This does not work at the hotel itself. You can redeem part of the amount, and a voucher is valid for three years from the purchase date. On top of a voucher you can earn cashback through daily cashback.
Tips
- Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is until 11 am. Not every reception is staffed around the clock, so look it up if you arrive late.
- Guests under 18 cannot book a room. Ages 16 to 17 can stay with a declaration of consent from their parents.
- All hotels are non-smoking, with marked areas for smokers.
- The group hotel overview is the easiest way to compare locations, and it lists the contact details of every house.
