Airparks arranges parking spaces at airports in Germany and many other European countries. The provider says it has been in business since 2005 and has served more than a million customers. It is worth a look if you want to leave your car safely before a flight and prefer to book the price in advance instead of paying the daily rates at the airport.
What you can book
The core is parking at the airport: you enter the airport and the drop-off and pick-up times and get suitable car parks shown. There are also hotels with and without parking, airport lounges and parking at the port for cruises. Many airports are listed, from Berlin Brandenburg through Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich to destinations in Spain, Italy, France and other countries. The site and booking flow are in German.
What the booking really costs
The price depends on the airport, the length of stay and the type of car park. On the home page Airparks mentions a free transfer between the car park and the terminal, so you pay nothing extra for it. Still, look closely before you pay:
- How far is the car park from the terminal, and how often does the shuttle run?
- Does the time between arriving at the car park and your departure leave a buffer for check-in and security?
- Is your return day flexible if the flight is delayed? The site mentions safety options for unplanned delays, so check what they look like in your fare.
- Are extras such as a hotel or lounge in the package or do they cost extra?
Cancellation and payment
The home page advertises free cancellation and rebooking. How far this applies to your fare and until when, you see in the booking flow. Read the terms before you pay and note the cancellation deadline. If your trip is not certain, choose a fare with free rebooking for as long as possible. The confirmation arrives by e-mail, keep it until you are back.
How to save
The home page advertises a welcome discount of 10 percent when you sign up for the newsletter. We currently have no coupons for Airparks. Booking early and travelling outside the holidays usually lowers the price noticeably, and during the holidays spaces are often scarce.

Choosing the right car park
The cheapest space is not always the best. A car park further away saves money but costs time through the shuttle. With an early morning flight a closer space or a hotel with parking is worth it so that you can sleep in beforehand. If you are away for a long time, compare the daily rate with the price for a week, because the scale often changes in your favour over longer periods.
Tips
- Enter drop-off and pick-up time exactly and plan a buffer for collecting your car.
- Note the contact details of the car park and your booking number before you set off.
- Check that your vehicle is suitable for the car park, for example if it is especially large.
- Finish the booking in the same browser in which you opened the daily cashback link.
