We list Corfu Villas under the name of the British villa operator CV Villas, formerly CV Travel. It rents hand-picked holiday villas in Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and other countries, with a focus on Corfu and the Mediterranean. It suits families and groups who book a whole house with a pool and want flights, car hire or a cook from one source.
What you can book there
The site sorts villas by region and by collections, for example family villas, beach villas, villas with a pool, with cook service, for large groups or within walking distance of the village. As extras the operator lists flights, transfers, car hire, boat hire and cook service, plus childcare and private experiences in the ABOVE luxury collection. The site also has special offers, and on individual villas a saving of up to 30 percent is shown.
What the stay really costs
Prices are in pounds sterling and apply per week for the whole villa, not per person. On the villa page a calendar shows the bookable weeks with prices. Without a date you only see a from price based on the cheapest available week. Divide the weekly price by the number of guests to see what the villa costs per head. Convert to euros, because your card provider may charge foreign fees.
Travellers under 12 on the return day count as children. Infants under 2 are not counted towards occupancy. Flights, car hire, cook or boat hire are extras and come on top of the villa price.
Arrival days, payment and protection
- Many destinations have fixed changeover days. In Corfu and Paxos it is Monday, in Italy and many other regions Saturday, in Lefkada Sunday. Morocco, the Caribbean and Sri Lanka are flexible. Always check the details on the individual villa page.
- The deposit depends on the owner's requirements and starts at 25 percent according to the operator. It is confirmed at booking.
- The balance is due nine weeks before departure, including any supplementary invoices.
- If you book a package, for example flight plus villa, it is protected under the UK Package Travel Regulations 2018. The operator also names its ABTA membership and an ATOL licence for flights.
You can book by phone, through an enquiry form on the villa page or, for many properties, directly online. How cancellations are handled is set out in the booking conditions, which you should read before you commit.
The operator names no fixed cancellation fee on its site. So ask before committing which scale applies to your villa, and have the damage deposit and possible charges for electricity, heating or final cleaning named to you. A conversation with the travel adviser is especially worthwhile if you travel with several families.
How to save
The biggest lever is the travel period. The search has an option to look three days either side of your preferred date and then also shows cheaper weeks. A date outside school holidays often costs clearly less. Second, occupancy counts: the more people share the villa, the less each pays. Third, take a look at the special offers. For packages, compare the price of flight plus villa with what you would pay booking separately, even though the package has the advantage of protection.
Tips
- Before you enquire, check that your date fits the villa's changeover day.
- Ask about minimum stay. Some villas require several nights.
- Check what is in the price, such as cleaning, pool, utilities and house staff.
- Read the operator's travel advice on entry, passports and travel insurance.
Booking with cashback
The cashback runs through daily cashback. First open the daily cashback store page for Corfu Villas, go from there to the provider and book as usual. The credit arrives after the stay has taken place and the booking has been confirmed. You can see the current rate on our provider page at TripPrice. Current vouchers and deals are listed there as well.
