Eurowings Holidays: what your trip really costs

Eurowings Holidays at a glance: understand deposit, cancellation deadlines and extra costs on package trips and save with cashback through daily cashback.

5 min read · Updated: 2026-10-06

Eurowings Holidays is the package holiday site built around Eurowings. You book flight and hotel together as a package. It suits people who want to plan a trip in one go and value a legally protected booking.

What you can book

The focus is the combination of flight and hotel. The homepage shows top deals, travel types and destinations plus last-minute offers, and you can also book a flight only. According to the provider, extras such as airport-to-hotel transfers, rental cars and HanseMerkur travel insurance can be added. Whether baggage is included depends on the offer and is shown in the booking.

What the booking really costs

The price in the search is the package price. What decides your final price is what you add: transfer, rental car, insurance, extra baggage. Add these up before you commit. For hotels in some countries, local charges such as tourist tax may also apply and are often paid on site even though they are not in the package price. You see the breakdown in the last step of the booking.

On the down payment, the provider states 50 euros per person from age 12 for flexible bookings made up to 28 days before departure. You pay the rest later, and the exact dates are in your booking confirmation.

Cancellation and payment

A package holiday differs from a single flight ticket here. Under flexible booking the provider promotes free rebooking and cancellation up to 14 days before departure, plus a free withdrawal on the day of booking and up to the third day after, as long as the trip is at least 18 days away. After that, graduated cancellation charges apply, set out in the terms. Read them before you book, because shortly before departure a cancellation can cost almost the entire price.

You can pay by SEPA direct debit, available until 15 days before departure, or by credit card. Money paid for package trips is protected against insolvency by a travel guarantee certificate, which you receive with the contract.

How to save

The best price guarantee and the last-minute deals are the obvious levers. If you are flexible on dates and departure airport, you usually save the most, as prices can swing a lot from one week to the next. Cashback comes on top. Important: start the booking from the daily cashback link, do not enter outside coupon codes because they can cancel the cashback, and pay in a single session without opening other shopping tabs. According to the FAQ, Eurowings Holidays vouchers bought before 21 April 2025 can no longer be redeemed.

How to go about the booking

  1. Choose departure airport, destination, travel period and number of travellers.
  2. Compare several hotels and departure days, not just the cheapest offer.
  3. Check whether baggage and meals are included in the price.
  4. Read the cancellation terms in the general terms and note the deadline for free changes.
  5. Enter names exactly as in the passport, since changing a name on a ticket is not simple.

Tips

  • Save the booking number and travel documents offline.
  • Online check-in is done with the airline, and you find the booking code in your travel documents.
  • For problems you can reach customer service by phone and email, with opening hours on the help page.
  • Check the flight status on the airline's site before departure, for example in case of strikes.

Booking with cashback

The cashback runs through daily cashback. Open the daily cashback shop page for Eurowings Holidays first: Eurowings Holidays at daily cashback. From there you continue to the provider and book as usual. The credit arrives once the booking is confirmed and the trip is completed. You can see the current rate on our provider page: Eurowings Holidays on TripPrice.
