Lopesan is a hotel group with properties in the Canary Islands, the Dominican Republic, Germany and Austria. It suits travellers who want a resort with a clear character, such as a family hotel, an adults-only beach house or a nature retreat, and who like to compare the price properly before they click.
What you can book
The Lopesan site lists hotels on Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, in Punta Cana, on the German Baltic coast and in the Vogtland, and in the Kleinwalsertal. The group is split into several brands aimed at different travellers:

Pick the brand that fits your trip first. An adults-only hotel and a family resort can sit a few kilometres apart and still feel completely different.
What a booking really costs
The homepage shows from-prices per night for Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Punta Cana, Germany and Austria. Those are entry prices for the cheapest room, not the final price of your trip. The homepage does not spell out taxes, resort fees or booking conditions and points to the booking portal instead, so look closely at the last booking step:
- Are meals (breakfast, half board, all inclusive) in the price, or added on top?
- Are local taxes or charges due at the hotel?
- Is the price per room or per person?
- What does an extra bed or a bigger room cost if you travel with three or four people?
Add flights and transfers as well. In Punta Cana especially, the transfer between airport and hotel is a separate item you should settle beforehand.
Cancellation and payment
The cancellation deadline depends on the rate you choose. Check the cancellation terms and the payment arrangements before you book, in particular whether you pay now or at the hotel. A flexible rate usually costs a little more but can be worth it if your flights or days off are not fixed yet.
How to save
Lopesan regularly runs time-limited offers, for example for the Canary Islands or Punta Cana, with reductions on stays. They are usually tied to travel periods and specific hotels, so read the terms of the offer and check that your dates really qualify. On top of that there is cashback. The two can often be combined because the offers do not need a voucher code. Still, compare the final price in the booking window against other dates: moving your trip by a few days sometimes saves more than any discount.
Tips
- Compare room categories. The cheapest room is not always near the beach or the pool.
- If you can choose, pay in the currency that costs you the lower fees.
- Save the booking confirmation as a PDF, you will need it for the cashback as well.
- Book school holiday trips early. Off-season usually gives you more for your money.
Here is how the maths works. A room with a from-price per night looks cheap, but a week for four people adds meals, a larger room, transfers and excursions. Write the items down beforehand and compare two or three hotels of the group on that basis, not on the from-price alone. That quickly shows which house gives you more for your money on your trip.
