Temptation Experience — Cashback: up to 5%

Temptation Experience stands for the Temptation Cancun Resort in Mexico, an all-inclusive hotel for adults aged 21 and over only. It is aimed at couples and groups who want sun, parties at night and a relaxed, clothing-optional atmosphere. If you want peace and family activities, this is not the place.

What you can book

According to the resort, it has 428 rooms and suites, each with a terrace or balcony and a view of the gardens or the Caribbean Sea. There are seven restaurants, a late-night snack bar, a cafe with deli and six bars serving domestic and international drinks. Add a spa, a fitness centre and several pools, including one where topless is allowed and a quiet one. In the evening there are themed parties and shows.

Besides the resort, our voucher list also shows Temptation cruises. Exact dates and conditions are with the provider.

What a booking really costs

All inclusive covers a lot, but not everything. Clear up these points before you pay:

  • What is included: ask which restaurants, drinks and activities are in the price and where extra charges apply, for example at the spa or for premium drinks.
  • Taxes and resort fees: check the booking summary to see whether everything is in the total or whether something is added on site.
  • Flight and transfer: neither is automatically included. Add the trip from Cancun airport to the hotel.
  • Tips: they are customary in Mexico. Plan a small budget for them.
  • Currency: the price may be shown in dollars. Check how your card handles foreign currency.

A hotel price alone is not a fair comparison. For every offer, add travel, meals and extra costs.

Cancellation and payment

Bookings run through the Right Connections Travel office in Las Vegas, which the website names as the contact. Phone numbers for the US, Canada, Mexico and international callers are on the home page. Cancellation terms and payment dates depend on the offer. Get both confirmed in writing, especially for special promotions, which often have stricter rules than the standard rate.

How to save

The resort announces promotions from time to time, such as seasonal deals or theme weeks. Whether they can be combined with cashback is noted on our provider page if the provider names restrictions. If you are flexible, off-peak weeks are often cheaper, even if the weather is a bit more changeable. Signing up for the resort newsletter gives you a heads-up on promotions.

Tips

  • Check the minimum age of 21 for everyone in your party.
  • Look at the house rules on dress and areas so there are no surprises on site.
  • Ask for an ocean-view room if that matters to you. It may cost extra.
  • Travel with insurance if you cannot cancel for free.
  • Plan your arrival and departure so you have time for the transfer.

Who it pays off for

All inclusive pays off if you really eat, drink and use the grounds. If you only want to sleep and lie on the beach, you may pay for services you do not need. Estimate roughly what you would spend on food and drinks outside the hotel in a week and compare that with the all-inclusive surcharge.

Compare before you book

Look at what the same week would cost in an ordinary beach hotel in Cancun, including food and drinks, and set the two side by side. All inclusive is not automatically cheaper, but it is often easier to plan, because after arrival you have hardly any extra costs. The resort sits on the Caribbean coast and has plenty to do on the grounds. So expect fewer excursions that you would pay for separately, unless you want to explore the area.

Booking with cashback

The cashback runs through daily cashback. Open the daily cashback shop page for Temptation Experience first, go from there to Temptation Experience and book as usual. The credit follows after your confirmed trip. You can see the current rate on our Temptation Experience page at TripPrice.
